The Digital Transformation for Manufacturers Program was developed to help small- and medium-sized manufacturers (SMMEs) improve and accelerate digitization within their organizations. Digitization — the application of enabling technologies to improve the performance of production (e.g., embedded intelligence, robotics); enterprise management (e.g., artificial intelligence); and supply-chain management (e.g., remote sensing) — has rapidly become a competitive differentiator among manufacturers.
